**Job Title: 2nd Shift Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker for the 2nd shift. The shift is from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. **Responsibilities** + Receive and restock inventory, dispatch, and manage overstock + Load and unload materials from trucks + Break down boxes and package items for shipment + Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders + Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed + Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach materials for the automotive industry **Essential Skills** + Experience with picking, RF scanners, packing, packaging, pallet jacks, unloading, loading, order picking, inventory, warehouse inventory, shipping, and receiving + Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds + Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders, about 5-7 steps, and occasionally a 15 ft stair ladder when needed for shipping + Ability to speak, read, and write English + Must be able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms + Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as well as individually + Self-motivated **Work Environment** The noise level in the work environment is usually high due to forklifts and other machinery running through the facility. The dress code includes plain shirts, jeans (no holes), and closed-toed shoes. The shift is from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Employees will be utilizing stairs and RF scanners. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
