Job Title: 2nd Shift Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker

Job DescriptionA distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker for the 2nd shift. The shift is from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays.ResponsibilitiesReceive and restock inventory, dispatch, and manage overstockLoad and unload materials from trucksBreak down boxes and package items for shipmentUse order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill ordersAssist Warehouse Supervisors as neededPick orders utilizing stairs to reach materials for the automotive industryEssential SkillsExperience with picking, RF scanners, packing, packaging, pallet jacks, unloading, loading, order picking, inventory, warehouse inventory, shipping, and receivingAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 poundsComfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders, about 5-7 steps, and occasionally a 15 ft stair ladder when needed for shippingAbility to speak, read, and write EnglishMust be able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squatAdditional Skills & QualificationsComfortable working in a fast-paced environment as well as individuallySelf-motivatedWork EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is usually high due to forklifts and other machinery running through the facility. The dress code includes plain shirts, jeans (no holes), and closed-toed shoes. The shift is from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Employees will be utilizing stairs and RF scanners.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
