Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a 2nd Shift Surface Grinder B to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Surface Grinder B, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality industrial knives and wear products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** 2nd Shift Surface Grinder B **Location:** Greendale, WI **Pay Range:** $21.00 - $30.00 (DOE) per hour **What's the Job?** + Set up, adjust, and operate a surface grinder to achieve required finish to flat surfaces with multiple dimensions. + Utilize blocking, aligning, and securing techniques for irregular shaped workpieces using magnetic chucks and sine plates. + Dress and change grinding wheels for various finish requirements, including radius and angles. + Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives. + Interpret blueprints to ensure precise machining operations. **What's Needed?** + High School Diploma or GED; 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Knowledge of grinding angles, four and six side grinding, and grinding parts square. + Experience operating Blanchard (rotary) style surface grinders. + Proficient in using and interpreting inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. **What's in it for me?** + Competitive pay with a shift differential of $2.00. + Excellent health insurance plan. + A generous vacation policy. + 401(K) plan with company match. + A supportive and air-conditioned work environment with state-of-the-art equipment.
