Job Description

This company plates end products/materials for companies. Plating is where you coat a product with a specified alloy/material to help protect the metal from wear and tear.

ResponsibilitiesExamine products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.Visually examine products at various stages of production, including before packaging, during processing, and after completion.Look for defects such as stains, blisters, missing plate, etc., as per the standard list of defects from QC to ensure consistency.Document the results of inspections, including pass/fail grades and the number of products inspected.Use a variety of tools and equipment to perform inspections.Rack parts that will be needed in the plating process.Essential SkillsGood visual acuityAbility to stand and walk for long periodsGood color perception and manual dexterityAbility to work in an orderly, logical manner with close attention to detailProficiency in English for verbal and written communicationWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Hotter and dirty environment. Very production-like environment. Prolonged periods of sitting (50%) or standing (50%). Will be exposed to a manufacturing environment that has fumes, dust, gaseous, noisy, and weather exposures. Walking, squatting, lifting, pushing and pulling carts, reaching, climbing, and bending may all be required. Employee must be able to pass a vision exam before employment and annually.

The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $39520.00
