Produce high-quality products and services for our customers. Monitor production output and ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality expectations. Responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work area.
ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate ability to follow direction, read weld symbols, schematics, and blueprints.Select, measure, cut, and join appropriate metals to specifications.Prepare metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.Regularly clean and inspect welding equipment and tools.Operate forklift and other lift assist tools safely.Test each assembly to ensure proper fit and function.Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.Accurately track and log assembly time sheets for each project.Properly identify and document QMS and department procedures.Maintain work area cleanliness.Adhere to all safety standards and plant rules.Test the strength of each join during and after project completion.Liaise with leadership to report issues and continuously improve processes.Utilize tape measures, calipers, squares, micrometers, and protractors.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMig weldingFlux coreTig weldingBlueprint readingWeldingSheet metal fabricationAdditional Skills & QualificationsTechnical education is a plus.Must pass weld test.Computer literacy.Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds.High School Diploma or GED equivalent is a plus.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.54 - $25.54/hr.
