You will work towards minimizing environmental impact, optimizing resource efficiency, and promoting socially responsible practices throughout the food service operations. Key Responsibilities: · Identify and implement initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of food service operations, such as waste reduction and energy conservation. · Evaluate and recommend sustainable sourcing practices for food and packaging materials. · Partner with the Intuit Dome’s sustainability team to ensure 310 Provisions alignment with waste management programs, including recycling, composting, and reduction of single-use items. · Implement strategies to minimize food waste within the operations. · Develop and deliver training programs to educate team members on sustainable practices and their role in achieving sustainability goals. · Actively monitor and guide part-time F&B staff to ensure adherence to the organization’s zero waste policies during events. · Foster a culture of sustainability through ongoing communication and engagement initiatives. · Support and maximize contribution to the food donation program. · Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sustainability initiatives. · Regularly evaluate and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and industry advancements. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred not required. · Prove experience in food and beverage hospitality. · Proven experience in the Sports and Entertainment arena industry. · Passion for sustainability programs and practices. · Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability best practices. · Familiarity with LEED and TRUE certifications, preferred but not required. · Excellent project management and communication skills. · Good task management and organizational skills with an ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously. · Good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. · Competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). · Schedule flexibility; hours vary based on events.
