340B Pharmacy Compliance Specialist
The 340B Pharmacy Compliance Specialist provides support for the UVA Health's 340B Programs. This program consists of 3 DSH, 10 entity-owned retail pharmacies, and a variety of contract pharmacy relationships. This position performs audits of 340B claims to ensure Program compliance and performs assessments of pharmacy operations and data reporting to identify process improvements. The 340B Pharmacy Compliance Specialist serves as a liaison between UVA Health's covered entities and 340B stakeholders such as third party administrators and contract pharmacies.

Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures for the 340B program.Develop, execute, and document monthly audits of the 340B Program (including but not limited to provider administered, entity-owned retail pharmacy, contract pharmacy, and Medicaid claims)Review current practices and assess opportunities for cost savings and system improvements while maintaining and/or improving 340B Program compliance.Collaborate with the pharmacy supply chain team to ensure compliant purchasing practices.Develop and foster working relationships with 340B stakeholders (IT, internal audit, finance, third party administrators, wholesalers, contract pharmacy, supply chain, pharmacy staff, etc.)Develop a thorough understanding of the split-billing/third party administrator systems.Ensure data integrity is maintained for applicable applications (third party administrators, wholesalers, UVA pharmacy data warehouse, etc.)In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.Position Compensation Range: $30.13 - $48.21 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field, or equivalent experience in 340B

Experience: 3 years relevant experience performing data analysis, extraction and systems interface, or 3 years relevant experience in pharmacy data analysis.

Licensure: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
