Help set the standard for character creation, authoring our key art, and working on new explorations for human and non human characters for Meta Avatars. **Required Skills:** 3D Artist, Avatars Art Team Responsibilities: 1. Translate North Star vision into real-time production art 2. Create high quality exemplar key art to guide content creation at scale 3. Work with engineers and technical artists to inform asset creation pipelines. 4. Manage external vendors and provide feedback on externally developed projects as needed. 5. Responsible for outlining asset authoring guidelines, process and pipeline as needed. 6. Quickly solve issues with your interdisciplinary peers. 7. Collaborate and iterate based on the team's needs. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 8. 5+ years of experience as a 3D artist with a focus on characters, including shipping 3 or more titles 9. Experience as a 3D artist working on creatures 10. Experience in a wide range of artistic styles, with an emphasis on stylized art 11. Experience communicating in a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, artists, and designers 12. Experience with one or more commercial game engines (e.g. Unreal or Unity) 13. Knowledge of digital content creation packages like Maya, Houdini, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, ZBrush, Photoshop, etc. 14. Experience in driving external development 15. Demonstrate broad technical experience to support a wide variety of technical and artistic goals **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 16. Prior virtual reality experience 17.
