3D Designer, Visual Merchandising (Temporary)
This position is responsible for supporting Global VM by providing design concepts and planograms for in-store presentations, animations and events. Partnering with Creative Ops Sr Manager and VP VM, this role is responsible for providing creative and best in class design solutions for in-store fixtures seasonally. This individual should have a strong understanding of product fit and function, makeup artistry and client journey in-store. The visual merchandising designer will also support in creating disruptive retailer animations and engaging events. Job Duties + Create and manage updates of Domestic planograms seasonally. Includes open sell and department store locations. (Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Macy’s, etc.) + Ensure product placement and navigation follows brand standards + Liase with Marketing and Sales to receive assortments and advise on product fit + Communicate and route planograms to cross functional partners for signoff. + Review engineering drawings from vendors and check for accuracy against planograms + Provide design concepts, design turnover to vendors and support in execution of retailer events. + Provide design concepts and manage development for in-store animations. + Design within budget and find cost saving solutions when possible. + Present concepts to key stakeholders and leadership + Attend cross functional meetings as needed + Work closely with VM development team to provide drawings and feedback as needed. + Conduct store visits to review instore execution and competitor instore presentations + Maintain awareness of current trends in beauty and design + This is a temporary assignment  Qualifications + BFA or BA in Industrial Design or related field of study. + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. + Must have experience in beauty industry and designing for retail environments. + Strong experience in reading technical drawings and creating planograms. + Strong attention to details, ability to execute flawlessly and clean product presentations. + Experienced in working with vendors and tracking to production milestones. + Able to present concepts both verbally and written + Ability to take feedback and have a positive attitude. + Ability to work with minimal direction + Works collaboratively and is a team player + Strong organizational skills, can prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment + Highly motivated, self-driven and can work independently while meeting all deadlines. + Proficient in MAC Platform, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Sketchup or other 3D Rendering a plus. Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 yearly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location.
