3D Imaging Lab Manager- Radiology Dept

 

Job Summary: 

The 3D Imaging Manager will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized cross-sectional image post-processing procedures including reconstruction on CT and MRI studies.  Responsible for the creation, measurement, annotation, and transfer of post processing image data to and from workstations.  Create images and movie presentations and provide services for research projects.  

 

Assists in 3D imaging education and 3D printing initiatives and is responsible for the maintenance of the 3D lab and its equipment as well as the technical staff rotating through the lab.  Assures proper charge and billing of 3D imaging studies.

 

This position will have at least 1-2 direct reports once the 3D lab program evolves.

 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree preferred

CT or MRI Technologist experience required- 2 years’ work experience minimum 

ARRT preferred

Advanced ARRT in CT and/or MRI

Strong anatomy and physiology background.

Prior 3D medical imaging experience.

Experience with volumetric image processing in a PACS digital imaging environment.

Familiarity with one or more cross-sectional imaging techniques, cross-sectional anatomy and gross pathology.

Competent in protocol development, team leadership.

Track record of analytical, problem-solving and decision making, initiative and judgment.
