DescriptionSkills and Experience:Proven experience in 3D laser scanning, including operation, data processing, and analysis.Familiarity with 3D modeling and CAD software.Technical Skills:Proficiency with laser scanning equipment and software (e.g., Autodesk ReCap, Leica Cyclone, FARO Scene).Strong understanding of point cloud data and 3D modeling.Additional Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Leadership skillsPosition Duties:Laser Scanning Operations:Set up, operate, and maintain 3D laser scanning equipment.Conduct on-site scanning to capture accurate spatial data and ensure the quality of the data collected.Data Processing and Analysis:Process raw scan data using specialized software (e.g., Autodesk ReCap, Leica Cyclone, FARO Scene).Create detailed 3D models, point clouds, and other deliverables based on scanned data.Analyze and interpret scan data to support project requirements and client needs.Project Management:Plan and coordinate scanning activities, including site assessments and scheduling.Collaborate with project teams to determine scanning needs and deliverables.Ensure timely completion of scanning tasks and data processing.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and present reports and visualizations of scanned data.Document scanning procedures, equipment settings, and project details.Quality Assurance:Verify the accuracy and completeness of scanned data.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment and data quality.Client Interaction:Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates.Offer technical support and recommendations based on scan data analysis.Working Conditions:Fieldwork may involve working in various weather conditions and environments.Ability to travel to different job sites as required.Willing to work nights and weekends during scanning projectsWilling to work OT while scanning, registering, and modeling as needed.Education:Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Other:Ability to travelDriver's license
