3PM Sourcing Analyst - Co-Man - Franklin, TN

The Sourcing Analyst is an integral position within the 3PM team.  This role is an essential member to the 3PM Team by supporting Co-Pack sourcing and operations managers across wet and care & treats pet food technologies for Mars Pet Nutrition US/Canada.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Completion of identified 1-3 key Commercial sourcing projects per year Collaborate with the Commercial Analytics team to ensure data integrity and create custom team reports to enable diagnostic and predictive decision-makingFunction as first point of contact for Sourcing team when a supplier issue affects multiple sites to streamline communication for the teamDrive an effective and collaborative relationship with key stakeholders to deliver competitive and market advantages through superior analysis, strategy, judgment, and execution Ensure appropriate Commercial representation in internal business processesDeliver market development information and analysis to drive business understanding of sourcing categories.  This can include leading creation and implementation of strategic supplier initiatives to deliver sustained competitive advantage.

What are we looking for? 1-2 years of relevant business experienceBachelor’s degree in business or related field or 3-5 years of relevant experienceAbility to convey communications clearly and conciselyMS Excel, Word and Powerpoint functional skillsSuccessful completion of a drug and background testExperience in procurement, supply chain, logistics or CPG industry preferredExperience with data aggregation tools such as Smartsheets, Power BI, Tableau
