Description We are in the process of hiring a 3rd Party Risk Analyst for our team located in Fort Worth, Texas, 76155, United States. As a 3rd Party Risk Analyst, you will be instrumental in monitoring cybersecurity technology and operational controls to ensure regulatory compliance. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and involves the management of access rights, the facilitation of user access reviews, and the conducting of audit remediation activities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular reviews on user access rights and collaborate with management to design or revise system user roles to align with their roles and responsibilities.
• Facilitate user access reviews for various systems including on-prem servers, Windows, Linux, databases, applications, cloud resources, etc., manually or using automated access review tools.
• Develop an understanding of the business and technology by preparing and scoping reviews and meeting with stakeholders to identify key risks and controls to be assessed.
• Participate in meetings with process and control owners to ensure enterprise-level access controls are properly created to address any access-related risks identified by management.
• Facilitate and track audit remediation activities with stakeholders until completion.
• Collaborate with internal auditors and regulatory examiners to collect and prepare requested documents and consult with stakeholders on remediation efforts.
• Undertake special projects related to cybersecurity as assigned by management.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of controls to mitigate identified risks and propose solutions for process improvements related to audit remediation efforts.
• Assess material risks in relation to the company's priorities and overall strategy by monitoring internal and external factors and applying key business initiatives. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience with Materials Handling and Database Design
• Ability to conduct thorough reviews and audits
• Understanding of security principles and consulting methods
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform data analysis
• Experience dealing with stakeholders, and using cloud technologies
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and conductivity measures
• A knack for process improvement and server management
• Ability to understand and follow specifications
• Knowledge of HIPAA-Regulated environments
• Experience with Windows OS and Linux
• Ability to manage change effectively
