3rd Shift Lathe Technician Details:

Temp-to-Hire position$20.13 /hourFull Time work availableThird Shift (Monday through Friday from 10:00pm to 06:00am)

Duties:

Machining finished contact lens from raw materialsSetup of machines and toolsCalibration and adjustments of machinesPreventive maintenance on machinesReport problems encountered in operations to lead or SupervisorWill become proficient in standard production: Lot preparations, axis markings, lathe cuttings, tool making, lens polishing, laser marking, lens release, center thickness measurement, lens power measurements, lens edge polishingMay be asked to support other departments

3rd Shift Lathe Technician Qualifications:

CNC/Lathe experience required (at least 2 years+)Must have strong math skillsMust be able to troubleshootMust be knowledgeable and proficient in DOS/Windows OSMust be able to use micrometers, microscopes, and pin gaugesMust be able to keep up in a fast paced environment
