Our client in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, knowledge of electrical components and wiring, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and facility-based maintenance issues. **Job Title:** 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic **Location:** Pomona, CA **Pay Range:** $28.01 per hour **What's the Job?** + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance machine servicing emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. + Troubleshoot equipment and facility-based maintenance issues using a range of skills including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic. + Recognize mechanical defects in equipment using touch, sight and sound and repair equipment in accordance with established GMP and safety procedures, and conforming to requirements of local building and safety codes. + Competently utilize standard mechanics tools. Proficiently use calipers, feeler gauges and micrometers. + Provide quality customer service to external and internal customers while using a personable customer service attitude. **What's Needed?** + High School diploma or GED or equivalent relevant experience and education; three (3) or more years’ experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a food manufacturing environment. + Strong mechanical skills as well of knowledge working with electrical components and wiring. + Basic math and reading skills required. + Minimum qualifications plus Associate’s degree, Bilingual Spanish.
