**Job Title: 3rd Shift Operator**
**Job Description**
The 3rd Shift Operator is responsible for manufacturing flavors including powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts, specifically within the Dry-Blend goods department. This role involves assembling batches according to formulations on each batch ticket while prioritizing food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. The operator may handle machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks. Attention to detail and the ability to read labels on raw materials and follow safety procedures are essential. The operator is responsible for producing the correct finished product quantity with the appropriate label requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manufacture flavors (powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, extracts) in the Dry-Blend goods department.
+ Follow formulations on batch tickets with attention to food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
+ Operate machinery including mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks.
+ Ensure the correct finished product quantity and label requirements are met.
+ Read labels on raw materials and adhere to safety procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Attention to detail.

+ Experience with machine operation.
+ Experience with batch mixing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in food manufacturing/production is ideal but not required.
+ Comfortable working in a team environment and abiding by GMP standards.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a Food GMP setting with strong smells due to the nature of the flavors company. Employees must wear steel toe shoes, a hair net, and no jewelry is allowed. Uniforms and lockers are provided for personal belongings.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauconda, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
