... Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Must be able to train on the day shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Shift Length: Typically 8 hours per shift, but may fluctuate
Starting Pay: $17.77 per hour plus shift differential once moved to 3rd shift
Responsibilities:
- Visually examines and feels the surface of rubber coated material to detect defects such as bond failure, scratches, bubbles, and other blemishes.
- Records all defects on defect log.
- Cuts material samples at beginning and ending of each master coil.
- Assists in start up, shut down, and changeover of coating line.
- Cleans tools and work area
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Skills:
-Previous experience in manufacturing, coating operations, or quality control.
-Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
-Experience with log keeping and data entry for defect tracking.
- Organizational and time management skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
High School

1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Ability to pass all required screening requirements.
-Steel-toed boots required for workplace safety.
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow quality control procedures.
-Willingness to train on the day shift (7:00 AM ? 3:00 PM) before transitioning to the assigned night shift.
