**Job Title: 3rd Shift Packer** **Job Description** The Packaging Operator is responsible for final packaging flavors (powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts) according to directions on each batch ticket. This role works closely with the Batch Processors to package batches with food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy priorities. The position may require operating machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks. The ability to read labels and follow safety procedures is essential. The role is responsible for packaging the correct finished product quantity with the correct label. **Responsibilities** + Prepare and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. + Record operational and production data on specified forms. + Transport materials, supplies, and products between work areas using equipment and sit-down forklifts. + Understand the impact and importance of food safety and its role in our products. + Communicate any food safety concerns to shift leads or management. + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including sanitation of equipment after each batch. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read labels and follow safety procedures. + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). + Ability to lift and transport materials as required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma required. **Why Work Here?** We are dedicated to building a better future for people and the planet through the creation of healthier, tastier, and sustainable foods. Candidates must be aware of strong smells due to the nature of the flavors company. Steel toe shoes, hair nets, and no jewelry are required. Employees will receive a uniform and locker for their belongings. Responsibilities include lifting and maneuvering various weights: 50lb boxes for spray dry and powders, and 25-30lb containers for liquids.
