**Job Title: 3rd Shift Production Supervisor** **Job Description** As a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor, you will ensure human safety is the top priority in all operations and material handling. You will reinforce and support a culture that prioritizes safety in every employee’s mind and actions. You will work to ensure that processes, capabilities, and mindsets are developed to provide a working environment free of food safety issues, in collaboration with the QA Manager. Additionally, you will ensure the production of ingredients that meet or exceed exacting customer requirements and make recommendations for further improvement. Your role will also focus on fostering a strong performance/results/continuous improvement mindset among employees. **Responsibilities** + Ensure human safety is the top priority in all operations and material handling. + Reinforce and support a culture that prioritizes safety in every employee’s mind and actions. + Work with the QA Manager to develop processes, capabilities, and mindsets to provide a working environment free of food safety issues. + Ensure the production of ingredients that meet or exceed customer requirements, in collaboration with the QA Manager. + Make recommendations for further improvements in production processes. + Foster a strong performance/results/continuous improvement focus among employees. **Essential Skills** + Production management + Production supervision + Management skills + Food manufacturing + Lean manufacturing + Process improvement + Supervision **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + BS preferred (not required); technical or business degree preferred + 10 or more years of related manufacturing experience in a processing industry; food processing experience required; spray drying experience desirable + 5 years of leadership/management experience, with at least 2 years as a manufacturing supervisor; currently holds a leadership position responsible for team results + Proficient and fully capable with ERP systems, PM systems, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of and experience with Lean principles preferred + Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions + Minimal travel requirements **Why Work Here** You will be part of a close-knit group with very competitive benefits. The facility turns liquid into powder, which also categorizes it as a chemical manufacturing environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Burnsville, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00 Currently observes seven holidays. You are also eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K, Life Insurance, and other benefits starting on the first of the month after hire. The 401K plan is a 50% employer contribution plan up to an employee’s contribution of 6%.
