Position SummaryThe Quality Assurance Technician will support food safety and GMP regulations within our prep kitchen and blast chill environments. Quality Assurance Technicians are expected to hold themselves to a high level of quality, accuracy, and food safety guidelines.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toPerform CCP checks that include cooking and cooling product temperaturesAccurately complete all required documentation including CCP recordsHandle Pre-operational inspectionsPerform environmental and food contact surface samplingConfirm accuracy checks on thermometersPerform dish inspections for cleanlinessFollow strict GMP inspectionsPerform chemical titrationsAuthority to stop the kitchen from running if the process is causing a food safety concernRequired Skills and ExperienceDemonstrate effective Food Safety knowledge (HACCP, allergens, sanitation, GMPs)Passion for accuracyExcellent communicative skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Skills and Experience1 year of previous food quality related experiencePhysical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsFrequently required to stand, communicate, and listenOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAble to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)Company Overview
