The Safety Support Technician reports to the Capstone Logistics Safety Supervisor.  This role primarily provide focus on safety and customer service-including but not limited to:

Inspect, test and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure they follow safety standards and government regulations. (Audits) Evaluate programs on workplace safety and health. Demonstrate the correct use of safety equipment. Conduct safety meetings and trainings to ensure facility safety compliance. Integral member of team that conducts post-accident investigations and makes recommendations to prevent accident from reoccurring. Assists operation management on accident documentation. Driver retraining and recertification when necessary. First Responder for shift. Informs Leadership team of all aspects of plant safety and health issues Perform additional duties as assigned by Management and/or Supervisor

Requirements:

High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical Sit-down and Standup Forklift Certification  Lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs, materials handled vary Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate All candidates should be over the age of 18 and will have to undergo a pre-employment drug test and background check
