3rd Shift Hours: 9:30PM-6AM Sunday-Thursday
The Job Details: Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Check in and out all truck drivers Assign Dock Doors if needed Ensure all paperwork is filled out properly Place driver’s license information and or seal numbers in the system Fill out pallet receipts for pallet accounts and/or bill for pallets Ensure cross dock paperwork is created and handed out Setup trucks to pick per supervisor request

What We Are Looking For:
Education
High School Degree preferredExperience
1 to 3 years preferred. Excellent communication skills, written and oral. PC, leadership and planning skills helpful. Experience in AS400, Lotus Notes, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Experience with warehouse paperwork preferred. Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database. Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers.
