While reporting to the Extrusion/Coating Department Manager as the 3rd shift supervisor you will be responsible for the safety, quality, continuous improvement, material handling, and cost performance for the Thermoforming Department in Franklin Park, IL.  

This role, due to being on nights, will be required to support the Extrusion and Coating department personnel as necessary.

Support the safe and healthy work environment based on the plants safety action planSupport Quality initiatives based on customer specifications and Customer Experience PillarEnsuring coordination of resources based on daily operational scheduleEnsuring accuracy of transactions within OracleEnsuring proper time and attendance of 3rd shift employeesMeeting/exceeding performance metrics expectations based on machine and plant KPI’sDirect continuous improvement initiatives with effective utilization of SPS Tool boxEnsuring communication and employee engagementWorking with Plant Superintendent and Human Resources on any plant employee related concerns or grievances

Willing to work nights – 8 hour shifts (M-F) with occasional weekends requiredSupervisory experience working in a Union environment in a manufacturing environmentBi-Lingual – Spanish & English (would be a plus but not an absolute)3-5 years in supervision or operational leadership with progressive responsibilitiesThermoforming/Plastics Processing Experience Degree preferred but not requiredPrevious Experience in Extrusion/Coating

Compensation: 

The annual base salary range for this role is from $85,920 to $96,660, plus a quarterly target bonus of 7.5% of base salary.
