As a 3rd Shift Switcher / Yard Driver working, 6:00PM - 4:30AM, Mon -Thurs, you’ll get to make a difference in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualification/Basic Job Requirements:Commercial Driver License (CDL)- Class A is requiredHigh School diploma or equivalent1 to 3 years of tractor-trailer related experience is REQUIREDAbility to communicate effectivelyMust be able to work well under pressureDOT physical will be requiredMust have a favorable driving recordJob ResponsibilitiesHave the ability to work under moderate supervisionCompleting trailer sanitation dailyComplete daily inspection checklist of CabMoving equipment around the yardNotifying management of repairs that need to be madeStoring equipment in safe areasConducting regular inspections of incoming containers per CT-PAT protocol when placing the at a doorConduct weekly yard checksEnsure seals or locks are placed on all Outbound trailers or on trailers carrying merchandiseAssisting carriers in finding trailers or providing directionMonitor fluid levels and refill fluids such as Blue Def when requiredLock Cab while not being usedSystemically move trailers to match physical location using an RF DeviceStage trailers in preparation of upcoming switchesSafely conduct all Hot or Cold trailer switches efficiently as possibleOvertime is sometime required in or to complete trailer switchedFlexible Shift work may be requiredOur pay and benefit package is one of the best in the industry including:$23.00 base pay, Non- DOT License $24.00 base pay, DOT License Monthly productivity bonus$500 referral bonus – no cap!
