**Job Title: Utility Laborer** **Job Description** Utility personnel will report to the Extrusion Supervisor and serve as an integral part of their department. They will ensure the safe handling of their aluminum product post-extrusion, tending the lines, racking, packing, or moving bins by forklift. Worker will train on 1st. shift and then transition to 3rd. shift after 6 weeks training with a pay increase. 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday (Training) 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am, Monday-Friday. (After 6 weeks) **Responsibilities** + Ensure safe handling of aluminum products post-extrusion. + Tend production lines, racking, and packing of products. + Move bins using a sit-down forklift. **Essential Skills** + Manufacturing/production experience. + Experience as a laborer and physically comfortable with heavy labor. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Sit-down forklift experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General labor experience. + Production and packing skills. + Experience with hand tools and construction. **Why Work Here?** The company has a family feel with a strong focus on safety. Weekly pay! **Work Environment** These positions support the 3rd shift, with initial training on the 1st shift for approximately 6 weeks. By January 1st, the shift will move to nights. Workers will receive a 3rd shift differential of $1. The plant requires a lot of mandatory overtime, averaging 48 hours a week, with occasional Saturday shifts. Work environments include both indoor and plant settings with extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
