POSITION DETAILS:
This position is a full-time non-exempt position - 100% FTE, 35 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00. This position, based on eligibility, offers a comprehensive benefit package, to include: health and dental insurance, retirement, vacation, sick and personal leave.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.Experience relevant to the role of the position.Valid NYS Driver’s License and the ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekend, as appropriate.Preferred Qualifications:

Coordination/Operation - 95%
Provide support and assistance for one or more professional staff as an integral part of a support staff team.Responsible for all aspects of camp registration and office based customer service for summer residential camp including data entry, cabin assignments, class selection, scholarship forms, health records, prepare deposits, mailings and mail processing.Schedule and maintain records for year round facility rentals and ropes course programs.Assist with the seasonal staff application process.Assist with the accounts payable bookkeeping process; organize receipts, invoices and all payables and submit to bookkeeper for processing.Assist with the accounts receivable bookkeeping process; organize payments, customer invoices and submit to bookkeeper for processing.Check and respond to email inquiries.Provide customer service as a critical responsibility of this position. Portray a positive and supportive image to the parents/guardians of perspective campers.Communicate pertinent HR issues to the Executive Director, Association Administrator, and/or SBN HR Lead as appropriate.Perform other general office duties as needed/assigned.Effectively maintain existing professional relationships with other agencies, organizations and businesses that promote effective communication and facilitate continued programming efforts. This position may require the transport of program materials and resources while performing position responsibilities.Professional Improvement and Other Duties as Assigned - 5%
In cooperation with Supervisor and/or Executive Director, jointly develop and pursue a professional development plan as a means to increase competencies relative to position accountabilities and to address changes and Association priorities.Collaborate in activities that are in general support of Cornell Cooperative Extension and perform other duties as assigned.Participate in required orientation programs; work with supervisor and work team staff to gain pertinent skills and information for specific on-job skills.Attend relevant in-service education programs.Health and Safety - Applied to all duties and functions.
Support the association to maintain a safe working environment.Be familiar and strive to follow any applicable federal, state, local regulations, association health and safety policy/procedure/requirement and standard.Act proactively to prevent accidents/injuries and communicate hazards to supervisors when identified.EEO/EPO and Policy - Applied to all duties and functions.
