The position will support program needs, delivery and coordination of County Programming including but not limited to trips, events, and community service projects The individual will operate independently under the direct supervision of the Association Issue Leader and/or lead Subject Educator. Work as a team member addressing local, regional, and statewide programming priorities. Represents the Association to the public, community leaders, government officials and Cornell University.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in a related field. High School Diploma/GED equivalent and 1 years’ experience in a related field may substitute.Experience relevant to the role of this position.Ability and knowledge in the fields of volunteerism and youth development.Demonstrated ability to plan, teach, and evaluate informal educational programs through a variety of delivery methods to reach individuals and groups.Ability to set goals, develop plans to attain those goals, evaluate and document impact.Ability to work well with others, i.e.: co-workers, advisors, community and volunteer leaders, school administrators, and media.Ability to communicate effectively through oral, written, and visual channels using traditional educational tools as well as digital media.Capable of receiving and conducting training.Ability and willingness to work with diverse audiences and maintain cultural sensitivity.A positive and enthusiastic attitude.Ability to utilize computer technology to author reports and proposals, communicate internally and externally, prepare visuals, access information, and learn and teach.Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.Must have a valid driver’s license and meet motor vehicle record standards for insurance.Ability to work flexible hours which include evenings and/or weekends.Preferred Qualifications:

Program Delivery - 80%
Utilize established program resources and materials in providing information and resources to program participants in established 4-H programming (i.e. 4-H Club programming; school programming).Teach existing innovative, developmentally appropriate 4-H educational programs and activities to support the identified needs to support the Plan of Work. Work to foster acceptance of 4-H Youth Development program, methods, and policies while addressing community and individual needs and considering diverse audiences.As part of the program delivery, act as a contact for volunteers and volunteer leaders within the county and provide standard responses to inquiries. Effectively utilize all forms of mass media, including social media, for the innovative delivery of 4-H educational programs – variety of delivery methods – including virtual/digital education through various platforms, such as Zoom, YouTube, Facebook, and others to assist in expanding of 4-H Youth Development networks.As part of program delivery, implement recruitment activities for new 4-H members, Clubs and groups, and school programs.In collaboration with supervisor, assist with recruitment activities for new 4-H members including marketing and delivering public affairs and special events to target audiences. Serve as a team member and cooperate with the entire Association and 4-H Youth Development Program staff to achieve Association program delivery goals.Program Evaluation- 5%
Implement program evaluation as designed.Interact with program participants to obtain evaluation data, including evaluating effectiveness of classes and instructors within program areas for all programs offered.Based on data evaluation, assist in making recommendations and improvements in programming.Administrative Responsibilities:
