Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a 508c Compliance Developer to support our team. What you will do Conduct comprehensive accessibility evaluations of existing applications, providing actionable recommendations to improve usability for individuals with disabilities. Create and maintain documentation related to 508 compliance processes, including testing protocols and accessibility reports. Apply coding best practices and frameworks to develop accessible web applications that are compatible with assistive technologies. Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines. Stay informed about the latest trends and regulations pertaining to 508 compliance and accessibility standards. Assist in training and mentoring team members on best practices for accessibility and compliance requirements. What you need to have Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 10 years of experience Clearance: Secret clearance Ability to review currently deployed web application for compliance with 508c standards and make scalable recommendations to our team Implement the changes and assist the team with implementation for future development Proven experience in software development, with a focus on web applications. Strong understanding of Section 508 compliance Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
