The successful candidate will function as a member of a cooperative team that is responsible for the registration, licensure, and/or certification of various categories of health care facilities and will be responsible for providing information and technical assistance for all application matters pertaining to licensure and/or certification of assigned programs. WHAT YOU WILL DO Assemble and review applications and supporting documents for compliance with licensure requirements within statutory timeframes. Provide information and technical assistance to licensed providers and applicants. Maintain a complete and accurate inventory of applicant and provider records by utilizing efficient work practices and performing quality control reviews of data entered into the state database and record storage system. Work cooperatively with coworkers within the unit, bureau, division, and agency to ensure timely and accurate information is available within the Agency and with other state and federal agencies, as appropriate. Assist with answering the work unit's multi-line phone system and directing callers to the appropriate staff or offices. Perform other related duties as may be assigned. A good attendance record is essential for any individual in this position as the work involved occurs daily and is time-critical. The individual in this position is expected to report to work daily and on time. Leave must be requested in advance except in emergency circumstances not under the control of the employee.
