ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.
ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

The Allocations & Entitlements (A&E) Developer has the overall responsibility of supporting the Volumetric Allocation and Entitlements workflows. The developer will be part of a local Agile Team, which is part of a Global Product Organization responsible for the delivery and support of various solutions used to meet customer needs. This position will be based out of Bengaluru, IN.
What you will do
The A&E Developer has the overall responsibility of supporting the Volumetric Allocation and Entitlements workflows.
Develop recommended standards and technical designs in Energy Components application
Identify and remediate technical debt within the application back-end and associated workflows
Work with business customers to define and implement enhancements/automation to business process flows
Support & Develop data extractions
Collaborate with the team in Code Reviews
Participate in Requirement Gathering and Specification
Define, maintain, and enhance allocation algorithms
Assist in resolution of escalated or more technical issues
About you
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from recognized university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related fields with minimum GPA 6.0 and above
Minimum 5 years of experience working in Quorum’s Energy Components Software
Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting vast experience with PL/SQL for Oracle
Experience with Test Driven Development
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
Application Performance analysis, debugging & optimization
Team player who is willing to contribute and strengthen team's knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Willing to work in shifts (1.30 PM – 10.30 PM IST)
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
JASPER Development
Experience working in a Scrum team
Knowledge of Oil & Gas production
Experience with each of the following Energy Components modules (Production/Transport/Sales)
Experience working in Cloud Environments, especially AWS.
Experience in programming languages – Java or .NET (preferable)
Experience developing or consuming REST APIs, preferably .NET/Swagger
Experience working with Global IT organizations (e.g. Infrastructure, Database) to resolve complex issues\
Previous experience within a global or demanding support role
