Augusta, ME, USA | Administrative | Part Time The A Family for ME Recruiter is responsible for raising awareness regarding the need for foster/adoptive parents in Kennebec and Somerset counties. Our recruiters perform community outreach using a variety of methods to find, engage and support prospective foster parents in the process of becoming licensed. The selected candidate will be part of a team of statewide recruiters and will engage in awareness and recruitment work both remotely and in-person across their assigned counties. This opportunity is well suited to outgoing individuals who enjoy meeting new people and engaging prospective foster parents and volunteers using both new and established recruitment strategies. The position is 20 hours per week with the potential of going to 40 hours. Must be able to consider various perspectives and adjust your approach accordingly, be creative, engaging, and a consensus builder. Prior experience with public speaking, customer service delivery, social services, and/or community engagement is preferred.
