A/P + A/R Clerk_EXP
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an A/P + A/R Clerk to join our team located in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes within our organization. This includes processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, handling customer inquiries, and taking appropriate actions on customer accounts. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain precise records of customer credit • Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Generate, verify, and dispatch customer invoices promptly • Record incoming payments from customers and apply them to the correct accounts • Closely monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate collection activities • Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues • Prepare and present regular aging reports and accounts receivable metrics • Maintain positive relationships with customers while effectively managing outstanding balances • Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with internal financial controls • Identify areas for improvement in the accounts receivable process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service and Communication Skills • Experience in Reporting and Metric Reporting • Knowledge of Invoice and Payment Processing • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Account Reconciliation • Understanding of Audit, Finance and Financial Control processes • Experience with About Time and Best Practices in finance • Familiarity with Billing and Collection Processes • Proficiency in English Language • Experience in Expense Reporting and Travel related tasks • Knowledge of Financial Notes • Familiarity with Purchase Orders and Discrepancy resolution • Understanding of Supplier management • Experience in Process Improvement and Specification • Ability to Ensure Compliance with financial regulations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
