Whether modifying aircraft to help protect our service members overseas, performing geographical mapping for scientific research, or working to suppresslarge wildfires on the West Coast, we serve with integrity and excellence. **Job Purpose:** The Engine Shop Mechanic role provides engine maintenance to deliver quality and value to a diverse set of aviation customers. **Company Compensation and Perks:** + Pay (hourly) + Full time position 7AM - 4PM (with hour lunch break 12-1PM **)** + Comprehensive Benefits offered + Medical, Dental, Vision + HSA/FSA + Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability + Employee Assistance Program + 401(k) with Company Match + Paid Time Off (PTO) + Company Wellness Program **Responsibilities:** + Disassemble and clean aircraft components/parts + Organize and Maintain shop and hanger floor from clutter or debris + Learn procedures and steps for higher level assignments + Install aircraft components and accessories + Read and understand maintenance manuals and understand requirements + Installation and removal of fuel nozzles on PT6 and Dash 8 engines + Install propellers, rig and balance. + Perform hot section inspections. + Install engines on aircraft; rig engines to assure they are matched to each other and function correctly + Troubleshooting + Make critical engine maintenance decisions not necessarily covered in maintenance manuals + Other duties as assigned **Requirements:** + Must hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant license + High school education required, some college preferred + Proven technical/mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, especially their design, uses, repair and maintenance + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Previous experience performing routine maintenance on aviation equipment, preferred King Air or Dash 8 specific experience + Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and use manuals to determine effective solution + Manage time to effectively meet company priorities + Must provide own tools (tool listing will be provided) + Ability to use and effectively navigate ERP program, time clock, and company intranet + Ability to: + Crawl in and out of tight spaces + Comfortably work at elevated heights of at least 40 feet for extended periods of time + Lift, balance and carry 50 lbs. + Work in enclosed hangars and exterior weather conditions + Work in close proximity to other people It is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
