**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description** Seeking skilled A&P Mechanics to perform maintenance primarily on Boeing 767's 300's, which are mainly cargo planes. Responsibilities include performing aircraft maintenance in compliance with FAA, manufacturers, and company requirements. Mechanics will overhaul, maintain, and repair airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment as per company and manufacturers' manuals. Duties also include signing off on work accomplished, maintaining awareness for defective or worn parts, adhering to safe working conditions, and performing tasks assigned by supervisors. Additionally, the mechanic will attend company training as required and may be assigned housekeeping duties. **Hard Skills** + A&P License + Boeing experience + Heavy Maintenance **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Adherence to safety + Responsibility + Proactive **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Rockford, Illinois. **Work Environment** Schedule operates on a 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off rotation. The work is primarily conducted outdoors, and mechanics are required to bring their own basic set of tools. They will work out of mobile cases or trucks.
