A&P Mechanic
**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description** The A&P Mechanic troubleshoots, repairs, inspects, and performs maintenance on customer aircraft. They perform and document all work in accordance with appropriate manuals and regulations. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft + Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations + Operate ground support equipment as required + Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations + Assist with fuel and/or defuel of aircraft as needed + Assist with engine removal and installation as needed + Assist with aircraft component repair as needed **Essential Skills** + A&P Certificate + At least 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience on corporate jets + Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings + Effective communication skills in both written and verbal form + Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control + Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications + Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including nonscheduled workdays and holidays + Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather conditions + Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge (if applicable) **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience on corporate jet aircraft, military fixed wing, or commercial aircraft (preferred) + Basic PC skills (preferred) **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team dedicated to excellence in aircraft maintenance.
