A&P Mechanic
**A&P Mechanic - Houston, TX!** **Description** A&P for Embraer Legacy 400/450 and 600/650. Candidates must have 2+ years on Business Jet Aircraft + Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft. + Use sound judgment and technical aptitude for maintenance decisions, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution. + Perform operational checks and engine runs to ensure airworthiness. + Inspect aircraft per OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals. + Evaluate and document serviceability of removed components; reinstall and test after inspection. + Troubleshoot and repair airframe systems (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.). + May perform fuel tank sealing. + Document all work accomplished clearly and accurately. + Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives. + Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. + Follow and promote company policies and procedures. + Analyze mechanical problems and determine repair methods. + Test and adjust engines, engine controls, propellers, landing gear, hydraulic systems, flight controls, and rigging. + Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems. + Use mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and calibration test equipment. + Observe all safety, environmental, and housekeeping rules and policies. + Perform other duties as required by the department. **** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $52.00 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in HOUSTON,TX. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 15, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
