**Job Title: A&P Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to join our team in a Part 145 shop supporting a leading flight school. This is a great opportunity to work on general aviation aircraft and ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform 50-hour and 100-hour inspections on general aviation aircraft.
+ Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
+ Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, and system discrepancies.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records, including logbook entries.
+ Collaborate with other mechanics and flight school staff to ensure aircraft availability and safety.
**Essential Skills**
+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
+ Minimum 2-3 years of general aviation (GA) experience, including maintenance and inspections
+ Familiarity with piston-engine aircraft and general aviation operations
+ Strong understanding of FAA regulations and safety procedures
+ Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A&P license
+ Aircraft maintenance experience
+ Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certification

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
