**Job Title: A&P Mechanic**
+ **4+ Years of GA Experience: $50-55/hour DOE**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance on General Aviation aircraft in a shop/hangar environment. This role involves conducting annual inspections, avionics updates and repairs, transponder checks, and more. The aircraft include Cessna 185, Cirrus SR's, and similar models. Many previous inspections and repairs on these aircraft were not up to standard, so the role will involve structural repairs, rewiring, and extensive removal/replacement tasks during annuals. The position also includes basic checks and avionics installations, as we are a Garmin dealer.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance on General Aviation aircraft, including annual inspections and repairs.
+ Conduct avionics updates and repairs, including transponder checks.
+ Handle structural repairs, rewiring, and removal/replacement tasks during annuals.
+ Install avionics systems, with a focus on Garmin products.
+ Ensure all maintenance and repairs meet high standards and regulatory requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ A&P License
+ 4+ years of recent experience in repairing General Aviation aircraft
+ Experience in avionics and/or structures
+ Ability to crouch, stoop, and bend to access small spaces
+ Own basic tools
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Specialization in avionics or structures
+ Experience with Cessna, Cirrus, Piper, and similar aircraft
+ Familiarity with Garmin avionics systems

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a hangar and shop space at Wenatchee Airport, which includes space for one aircraft, an avionics repair bench area, tools, and parts. Although the space is somewhat cramped, there are plans to move into a larger new hangar across the runway in the future. The station manager is also a mechanic and will work alongside you to solve problems and complete tasks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of East Wenatchee, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
