A&P Mechanic
Job Title: A & P MechanicThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr DOEJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in San Diego, CA. We pride ourselves on consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations and creating lifelong relationships with our clientele.The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for the accomplishment of all work assigned in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the Company, applicable government agencies, and the manufacturers as contained in the approved technical publications.ResponsibilitiesPerform Line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft.Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within scope of approval) returning aircraft to service.Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively perform work to meet deadlines and performance goals.Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to Approved Technical Data provided by the customer.Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR’s and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented.Perform line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned.Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.Essential SkillsCurrent valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License3+ years of Line maintenance experienceExperience with Airbus aircraftValid driver’s licenseAbility to frequently stand, walk, utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawlAbility to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 poundsAwareness of working near and around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals and exposure to loud noisesUtilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical informationExposure to weather conditions outside as well as extreme heat or coldAbility to read and write EnglishAbility to pass airport security checksWillingness to travel for work as requiredFlexibility to work night and weekend shifts to meet customer demandAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience on B767-200/300 aircraft typesGood organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesCustomer-facing skills and ability to work with the flight crew in a professional mannerIndependent, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervisionWhy Work Here?Join a team that values exceeding customer expectations and fosters lifelong relationships.Enjoy a dynamic work environment where your skills and dedication are recognized and rewarded.Benefit from a supportive and professional atmosphere that encourages growth and development.Work EnvironmentThe role is based at San Diego International Airport on the flightline.The schedule consists of 4 X 10-hour shifts, with hours from 6pm - 4:30am or 12:30am - 11:00am.Candidates must be flexible as the schedule may vary due to flight schedules.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of San Diego, California.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
