**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description** A well-established flight operation and maintenance facility in the Bay Area is seeking skilled A&P Mechanics to join its team. With a diverse fleet of 63 general aviation aircraft, we specialize in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services. We are looking to hire one entry-level and three experienced mechanics to support ongoing maintenance operations. The ideal candidate has general aviation (GA) experience, particularly with piston-engine aircraft such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Diamond, and Cirrus. Candidates with Inspection Authorization (IA) are highly preferred. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine and preventative maintenance on GA aircraft + Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with FAA regulations + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and avionics issues + Complete accurate and timely maintenance records + Collaborate with flight operations to ensure aircraft availability **Essential Skills** + A&P Certification (required) + General aviation maintenance experience (preferred) + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Must have basic tools (company provides a monthly tool stipend) **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Inspection Authorization (preferred) **Why Work Here?** Our company offers major tools and provides a $100/month tool stipend. Flexible shifts are available to accommodate commute times. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00/hr.
