**Job Title: A&P Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to track and perform scheduled service on a fleet of 12 flight school aircraft. This includes 50 hour, 100 hour, and annual inspections. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and related components. You will also complete all work orders, log entries, and return-to-service records in compliance with aviation regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Track and perform scheduled service on flight school fleet aircraft.
+ Conduct 50 hour, 100 hour, and annual inspections.
+ Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and related components.
+ Complete all work orders, log entries, and return-to-service records according to regulations.
+ Log all work order updates in Flight Schedule Pro as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ A&P certification required.
+ 3+ years of piston aircraft maintenance experience.
+ Experience with Cessna, Guimbal, Piper, and Tecnam aircraft.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ IA certification strongly preferred, or enough hours to test for IA soon after starting.
+ Experience with Flight Schedule Pro preferred.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule is a 5-day work week from Monday to Saturday, with flexible start times. Previous mechanics worked from 10 AM to 6 PM due to family commitments. Ideally, there will be a Saturday rotation among mechanics. You will work with one other mechanic to maintain the fleet and report to the Director of Operations. The hangar has a family environment with an ownership mindset, is heated in winter, and has a large fan for the rest of the year. Mechanics are responsible for maintaining small tool and parts rooms.

This is a Permanent position based out of SAUGET, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $93600.00/yr.
PTO, discounts on flight training, flexible scheduling depending on personal needs, family oriented atmosphere.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Sauget,IL.
