Job Description
Our Aircraft Mechanics have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a first shift, Monday-Friday, climate-controlled environment. The A&P Mechanic inspects, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components; maintains & repairs aircraft components; determines equipment malfunctions; interprets technical documentation; and restores equipment condition and/or operation.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all aircraft are airworthy.Perform annual aircraft inspections and document all areas needing maintenance.Perform repairs and maintenance following workbook instructions according to industry standards and FAA regulations.Maintain and repair aircraft components, including assembling and installing flight controls, engines, pneumatics, fuel systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulics.Repair and modify aircraft structures and structural components.Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions.Examine and inspect aircraft components such as landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, floats, functional components, and parts like wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, and electrical systems.Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals.Ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met.Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.Work primarily with Cessna Caravan aircraft.Essential SkillsA&P License(A&P) license may not be required if you have two to three years of general aviation aircraft mechanic experience.Ability to meet FAA regulatory and safety requirements in all aspects of the work.Proficiency in using hand tools including wrenches, hammers, power tools, and other tools used in testing aircraft and parts.Ability to use a computer, phone, and photocopier.Must have all required tools designated within 90 days of starting employment.Compliance with drug testing requirements in accordance with federal regulations.Compliance with the company's FOD prevention plan.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in General Aviation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work at the company maintenance hangar, a large FBO facility providing maintenance at the South St. Paul Airport. The position is first shift, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, in a temperature-controlled environment. The maintenance team consists of 22 people.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of SOUTH SAINT PAUL, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Very clean shop, with a small crew. Lots of hands on training, and opportunity to move up.

Pay range $28-40.00/hr.
