Lead and supervise crew members in assigned job functions
Ensure work complies with technical data, FAA regulations, and company policies/procedures
Review non-preplanned documents and provide timely estimates for maintenance within scope
Track time spent on work orders and ensure proper logging within assigned budgets
Document, tag, and protect removed aircraft parts/components
Sign and ensure crew members sign/document aircraft maintenance appropriately
Read and interpret accepted/approved data for troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and replacing components
Coach and develop crew members, ensuring proper documentation of training
Coordinate crew activities, assign work duties, and analyze/resolve work problems
Maintain communication within area of responsibility and promote teamwork/cooperation
Review completed/partially completed tasks for proper documentation and signoffs
Write detailed turn-over reports and maintain aircraft visibility work boards
Operate aircraft ground servicing equipment, hand tools, power tools, and other related equipment
Working Conditions:
Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, reaching, crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and requiring eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
Exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, materials on Safety Data Sheets, unprotected heights, and moving machinery
Protective equipment required: goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, breathing equipment
