Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The A/P Specialist is responsible to ensure invoices are paid correctly and on-time. S/he will verify accuracy of invoices, communicate with internal and external customers and perform administrative or clerical duties. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Process invoices and credit memos. Verify accuracy of invoices and credit memos by reviewing quantities, prices, coding and appropriate signatures of approval. Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and respond promptly to information requests. Provide backup for other staff members. Perform administrative or clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, sending mail and typing. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED: A combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the position as described above. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Effective English oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others. Demonstrated aptitude for effective, efficient and innovative use of IS technologies. Proficient in MS Excel and Word preferred. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Organized, detail-oriented and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. The pay range for this position is $42,909 - $56,639 per year.
