We have an outstanding career opportunity for anA/V Programmerto join a leading Company located in the Raleigh, NCsurrounding area.
We are seeking a skilled and certified AV Programmer with expertise in Crestron and AMX programming, and experience with Extron systems a plus. As an AV Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing audio-visual control systems to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences in both corporate and residential environments. The ideal candidate will be able to develop custom solutions, provide technical support, and ensure all AV systems meet the specific requirements and specifications of our clients .
Job Responsibilities:
+ Program and configure Crestron, AMX, and Extron control systems to meet project requirements.
+ Design, test, and implement custom AV solutions to integrate audio, video, lighting, and control systems for commercial and residential installations.
+ Conduct on-site programming, system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure all systems function according to client specifications.
+ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all AV systems meet project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
+ Provide technical support and training for clients and end-users on AV system operations.
+ Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting on AV systems, resolving technical issues and performing software updates and hardware configuration.
+ Document system designs, configurations, and programming changes in accordance with company standards.
+ Assist with the creation and maintenance of user manuals and programming guides for AV systems.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Crestron Certified Programmer with extensive programming experience on Crestron control systems.
+ AMX Certifications (e.g., AMX Certified Programmer) is required.
+ Extron Control Professional or Extron Control Specialist certification is a plus.
+ Strong proficiency in Crestron, AMX, and Extron control systems.
+ Experience with audio, video, and lighting control systems integration.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose AV system issues quickly and effectively.
+ Familiarity with networking concepts (IP-based control, system integration, and system architecture).
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, teams, and vendors.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality AV solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience as an AV Programmer or Control Systems Programmer in the AV industry.
+ Knowledge of programming languages such as SIMPL+, NetLinx, and Extron's Global Configurator.
+ Ability to read and interpret AV system schematics and technical documentation.
