Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided\:
Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space. Mitigation of orbital conflicts. Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities. Operations and maintenance of classified communications. Software development and integration.
NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at\:
Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska Vandenberg Space Force Base, California Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the worldDescription of Duties\:
The A/V and Tech Support Specialist supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will\:
Perform ITW/AA Organizational-Level computer hardware maintenance/preventative maintenance inspections (install/replace/integrate) on system equipment (hard-drives, printers, clients, etc.). Install, configure, verify, and operate the VDS, surveillance, and all associated equipment (routers, switches, etc.), Cheyenne Mountain Cable TV System consisting of several channels and broadcasts throughout the complex (including several buildings outside the complex). Install, configure, verify, (routers, switches, etc.) and operate the Intrusion Detection System (IDS)/surveillance cameras external/internal to the facility, Vindicator Systems, and the Mobile VTCs, along with reporting circuit outages. Work under immediate supervision and achieve technical guidance, as required, from the Project Manager. Perform installation, removal, configuration, and operation of voice and/or non-voice communications systems including intercom and public address systems, alarm systems, teletype equipment, and terminal and communications equipment, including line drivers. Run cables, key cables, or house wire to all video/alarm equipment, terminal connectors, lugs, pins, or screws, associated with video/alarm equipment and/or terminating equipment for non-voice circuits. Route calls, transfer information, and handle administrative duties. Complete various tasks such as typing, checking, and recording information.The successful candidate will\:
Demonstrated experience interfacing with high-level Customers and multiple DoD Agencies. Experience prioritizing and managing workloads. Work independently using various communication methods.
***Shift work could be required to support 24×7 operations. It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required including nights, weekends, and holidays on a modified Panama schedule, and can remain on-site for extended periods during emergencies and drills.

*Basic Requirements\:
Clearance – Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Certification - IAT Level II Certification (CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, SSCP) 1 year of directly related experience within an electrical field **OR** 1 year directly related general electrical experience within one of the following branches of the military\: USMC, USAF, USN, US Army, USSF Experience performing computer hardware maintenance/preventative maintenance. Experience with operating and maintaining (infrastructure) A/V Intrusion Detection equipment. Experience with operating and maintaining video equipment. Must be able to complete work that requires climbing, working at heights, and in small, confined spaces such as under raised floors, inside closets, and server racks. Must be able to complete work that requires sitting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching for long periods. Must be able to work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions. Must be able to complete work that requires lifting and transporting equipment up to 50 pounds.
Desired Requirements\:
Experience with the Vindicator Intrusion Detection Systems. Experience with the Crestron configuration and programming. Background in operations planning, work order management, and automated outage-reporting tools in a "real-time" support environment.
This position is expected to pay $60,000 - $70,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Physical Requirements
Position will require extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone. You may be asked to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work. You may be asked to continue performance in support of a war, contingency, or exercise.
