As a Processing Specialist II, you'll be responsible for tracking work requests, data entry, process completion related to client and internal customer requests, and conducting routine medium risk reviews of core and ancillary system information. Responsibilities also include the organization and communication of error tracking and resolution education. A Processing Specialist II must process a high volume of work with an elevated degree of accuracy to ensure a superior client experience while safeguarding compliance to policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements. They will provide support to Relationship Bankers of all levels, peers, and support training junior level processing specialists to guarantee client experience remains at the forefront throughout AAB’s growth of deposits and services.What we are looking for:
Processing and issuance of negotiable items (e.g. checks, ACH payments) related to client and internal customer requests.Complete complex transaction research and provide findings to banker for corrective action by client.Generate and submit ACH origination packets for new and existing clients, conducting annual review of client limits, and aligning COID with software partner platforms.Perform quality review of critical data accuracy in all key systems. Input data corrections, as identified.Vendor invoice processing and all related payments and settlements {Sandy discussion}Account opening and closing, including but not limited to CDARS, ICS, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Checking and Money Market accounts.Maintains general understanding of all HOA bank products, services, policies, and procedures, and integrations to clients’ external accounting software.Maintain a general working knowledge of related federal banking regulations. Utilize this knowledge to ensure compliance and mitigate associated risks for both the client and bank.Collaborate in a team structure and assist other members of the team to balance workload.Utilize systems and tracking tools to remain organized, ensure completion of all requests, and deliver exceptional client experiences. Strong task management and professionalism is essential.Actively participate in bank training and demonstrate retention of learned knowledge.Participate in team projects, as assigned.What you need to have:
High school graduation or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. 3+ years of related experience in retail, commercial banking, treasury management services or HOA banking.Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to convey ideas and thoughts with clarity, confidence, and respectfulness.Intermediate knowledge of general banking, including an understanding of bank products, services, regulations, policies, and procedures.Must be flexible and adapt quickly to change, displaying a strong openness to feedback and continuous learning.Ability to work independently and in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and remain organized.Proficiency with MS Office suite.Benefits you’ll love:
