AAMG PT Residency Program Coordinator

Position Objective:

Directly supports the Program Director with the operational and financial aspects of the residency training program by ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation requirements, and hospital and AAMG PT departmental policies.

Essential Job Duties:

Provides direct support to the Program Director, in the collection, maintenance and reporting of program data to include: duty hours, procedure logs, evaluations, policies, surveys, and resident files.Provides direct support to the house staff for all administrative needs.Manages the accreditation site visits for the program to include annual, electronic updates and onsite visits.  Prepares, organizes and submits documentation as requested.  Participates in onsite visits.Maintains and monitors the necessary residency trackers to enable resident-s successful completion of the residency program based on the necessary metrics. Coordinates the complete recruitment process for house staff to include managing applications, scheduling interviews, meeting match deadlines and onboarding house staff.  Also coordinates visiting house staff and observers.Organizes the resident rotation/block schedules, call schedules and conference schedules. Maintains and updates the program website and other electronic resources.Provides direct patient care.Plans and coordinates departmental events for AAMG PT Residency Program to include recruitment, orientation, graduation, retreats and other program-related activity.Coordinates and proctors exams.  Monitors house staff engagement in learning resources.Arranges, organizes and supports the full departmental evaluation process for the trainees, program, faculty and rotations to include regular evaluation processes. 

Educational/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university.Three years of experience in healthcare.Three years of experience in healthcare working in a residency program preferred.Outpatient rehabilitation or related experience.
