Maxim Healthcare Services in Los Angeles County is hiring for an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. Looking for someone Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm

Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support PlanQualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalentPrevious experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferredCurrent CPR certificationCurrent PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirementAt least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviorsCollege coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred Must be at least 18 years of age. *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
