ABA Clinical Coordinator
Behavior Treatment & Analysis
Job Scope:
The Clinical Coordinator guides and trains team members, supports Behavior Technicians (BTs) through field overlaps, ensures timely and accurate therapy implementation, and uses Behavior Skills Training (BST) to help BTs practice and receive feedback. They also assist with reassessments, write progress reports and goals, analyze data, and make clinical decisions.
Additionally, they lead clinic meetings, provide monthly parent education, and oversee smooth transitions for new BTs with in-person overlaps. The Clinical Coordinator reports to the Main Office and escalates session-related issues to the Associate Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager as needed.
Essential Job Duties:
Clinical Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with the Associate Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Manager in each case.
+ Design, develop and implement a wide range of ABA programs for individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities in collaboration with the Associate Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Manager
+ Collaborate with families and other professionals to tailor ABA programs to specific clients' needs.
+ Develop progress reports the include:
+ Analyzing data and graphs
+ Interpret graphs and data paths
+ Write detailed progress notes for each goals/targets
+ Analyze service delivery
+ Develop treatment plans and recommendations in collaboration with the Associate Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Manager
+ Supervise Behavior Technicians using Behavior Skills Training, provide additional support to the behavior technician out in the field.
Behavior Skills Training includes:
+ Instructions: Provide a clear description of the skill that is currently being taught
+ Model: Demonstrate how to do the skill
+ Rehearse: Allow the BT to perform the task
+ Feedback: Provide clear feedback on BT's performance
+ Practice: Repeat the teaching procedures until BT shows mastery
+ Create program materials as needed for each client.
+ Identify areas of concerns for each client to design and implement programs and targets.
+ May provide direct sessions when needed for clients that require coverage sessions.
+ Conduct IOA or ABC recording during sessions to ensure that the data is reliable.
+ Overlap first day sessions as outlined in the Clinical Coordinator general description.
+ Assist Behavior Technician with communicating with parents.
+ Attend a monthly Clinical Meeting.
+ Provide monthly Parent Meetings.
+ Overlap each Behavior Technician on each of your cases every week.
+ Overlap each client in your caseload at least once a week.
+ Ensure to write session notes for every converted appointment (direct and indirect) in an objective and detailed manner.
Administrative Responsibilities:
+ Answers emails in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
+ Schedule assigned hours Thursday of each week for the following work week.
+ Communicate with the clinical team to address any conflict or issues that may arise during sessions.
+ Attend staff meetings and mandatory training as directed by the Clinical Supervisor responsible for cases.
+ Complete intake packet for new clients.
+ Contact new clients assigned within 48 hours and scheduled initial meetings.
+ Submit well written progress reports on a timely basis.
+ Track utilization of authorizations.
+ Meet 80% utilization for each case monthly.
+ Clinical Coordinators will manage between 12-18 clients on their caseload.
+ Convert scheduled sessions promptly (at the end of each sessions)
+ Bill in accordance with funding source and company protocols
+ Other duties as directed.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
Experience:
+ 1-2+ years of demonstrated clinical supervision.
+ Experience working in behavioral healthcare or related industry.
Education
+ Master's Degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
